On July 23, 2010 we were joined by 20 close friends and family members as we united in marriage.

Our trip began Tuesday, July 20th as we woke up in the morning to catch our 7am flight to Jacksonville, Fl. While, to many of you, this will not come as a suprise but Traci could not get out of bed (but then again, how is that any different than any other day!) After rushing around to finish the last minute packing, we felt like it would be a close call to catch our flight, but off to the airport we went. Just as we were driving out of town Camron realized we had forgotten our money for the trip. So needless to say, we had to turn around, go back home and contact Southwest because at this point there was no way we could catch our 7am flight. The best part was that we just laughed at ourselves and Cam was saying that missing our flight would not suprise anyone because Traci is ALWAYS late.

We caught the next flight out which left at 9am and made it into Jacksonville around 4:30pm. After getting our luggage and rental car (which by the way is Camron's new dream "daddy-mo-bile" a 2010 Hundai Genesis), we headed to our hotel on the beach. We made it a relaxing evening at the hotel and spent some time on the beach, in the pool and in the hot tub before calling it an early night.

Wednesday, we were excited because Stefanie and Mark were making there way down to Jacksonville and we were anxious to have an evening out on the town with them. We could not just sit in the hotel waiting for their 4:30pm flight to arrive, so we went out and hit the beach for some tanning and an attempt at surfing. Camron is definately much better at attempting to surf than Traci is but we all know how competitive Traci is and how she had to at least get out there and try with all her might to show Camron up. Well, Camron was just happy to see that Traci made it out of the water without getting smacked in the face by the surfboard and that no bodily injury ccured. Camron is always looking out for Traci's safety and well being. Stefanie and Mark arrived on time as scheduled and we could not WAIT to hang out with them for the evening. We headed over to their hotel, gave them their gift bag and then we all 4 headed back over to the beach area. We went to Snappers Seafood for dinner. Everyone except for Stefanie had all-you-can-eat crab legs. We must say it was very fun and entertaining because it was Mark's first time having all-you-can-eat crab legs and to watch the big, manly man struggle to break the claws in order to secure the meat inside was very comical.

Thursday, July 22nd was a big day because we had 5 more people coming into town. On this day Camron's Grandma Sue, Mom (Kim), and former roommate and fire buddy Jeff Taylor came into town as well as Traci's Aunt Connie and Uncle Mark. We started our day out with brunch at the hotel and then joined Stefanie and Mark out at the beach around 11:00am. Cam went surfing while Mark, Stefanie and Traci played in the water and caught some Florida sun.

Grandma, Cam's Mom, Jeff, Aunt Connie and Uncle Mark arrived in time to have dinner and hit the town for some good ol'fashioned mini golf. We all headed to Taco Lu for some good ol' mexican a la carte style. Taco Lu is definatly
a place worth hitting up when your are in Jacksonville. After some YUMMY YUMMY mexican food we headed to Adventure Landing where we checked out the baby alligators and hit the miniture golf course for 18 holes of "pro-like" golfing. For being their first time min-golfing. . .Aunt Connie and Uncle Mark really made a hit and golfed like pros. . .now Grandma White on the other hand was doing pretty good until she decided to get a little to cocky and on her next hole shot a 12 on a par 3. Even Uncle Mark and Aunt Connie were smoking her at this point! The round ended with Mark and Mom (Kim) bringing in the top spots while Grandma White, Aunt Connie and Traci brought up the rear. I think Grandma, Connie and Traci got confused and thought that the individuals with the highest score would win! But then again Traci is the Bride and they were all telling her, "You are the BRIDE. . .whatever you want". . .I think that means Traci was the winner, but only because she was the BRIDE.

Stay tuned for more. Next up . . . Wedding Day Events, Wedding Ceremony, Wedding Dinner . . .then we are going to tell you about our "FamilyMoon" cruise.
